CARBIOS awarded DSEC the EPCM construction of the world’s 1st PET biorecycling plant in France
De Smet Engineers & Contractors (DSEC) is proud to be awarded by CARBIOS the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contract for the construction of the world’s 1st PET biorecycling plant, designed to process 50.000 tons per year of PET waste using enzymatic depolymerization.

CARBIOS’ plant, due to be commissioned in 2025, will be their first commercial unit, scaling up from their demonstration plant inaugurated in 2021.
